About Sand Lake Shores

Formerly known as Sand Lake Cottages & Inn, our property began a new chapter in July 2026 when it was purchased by G and T and was reimagined as Sand Lake Shores.

For us, this is more than a lakeside retreat—it is a place where people can slow down, reconnect and create the kinds of summer memories that last for generations. Sand Lake Shores is intentionally small-scale, nostalgic and personal. We hope to preserve everything guests have always loved about the property, while gradually bringing many new ideas to life.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. Between us, we have five children, five grandchildren and three grand-dogs, and we are excited for some of our children to become involved in the business as Sand Lake Shores grows. We have always loved bringing friends and family together, opening our doors and making people feel genuinely warm and welcome. That same feeling is what we hope every guest experiences here.

We look forward to welcoming returning guests and new visitors alike—from families and couples to groups of friends, ATVers, snowmobilers and anyone searching for a peaceful escape on one of the area’s most beautiful lakes.
