Sand Lake Shores is a peaceful waterfront retreat in Kearney, Ontario, offering a collection of private cabins and lodge-style accommodations along the sandy shores of Sand Lake. With space for couples, families, and larger groups, guests can enjoy the comfort of their own private unit while sharing access to the property’s beautiful waterfront and sandy beach.
Our accommodations include three private cabins, offering a mix of 3- and 4-bedroom layouts, a spacious 3-bedroom loft, and our lodge, which features two separate units — a 2-bedroom suite and a larger 3-bedroom suite accommodating up to 10 guests.
Every accommodation includes its own private outdoor deck, BBQ, and fire bowl, giving guests a dedicated space to relax, cook outdoors, and enjoy evenings by the fire.
All guests have shared access to the sandy waterfront and beach, making Sand Lake Shores an easygoing lakeside destination for swimming, relaxing by the water, and spending quality time together.

Quartz Cabin
The Quartz Cabin is a cozy three-bedroom waterfront retreat perfect for a getaway in any season. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, three-piece bathroom, and spacious patio with your own BBQ and plenty of seating. Relax around your private campfire while taking in the lake views, or settle in for a nostalgic movie night with our collection of hundreds of DVDs. With waterfront beach access, it’s a classic cottage experience with all the comforts of home.
Shale Cabin
A cozy lakeside retreat perfect for families and groups, this four-bedroom Shale cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge and oven, a three-piece bathroom, and a comfortable living room with a wood stove. Step outside onto your private deck overlooking the lake, complete with a BBQ and plenty of patio seating. Just steps away, your own fire pit awaits for evenings by the water and marshmallow-filled nights.
Granite Cabin
Welcome to the Granite cabin - this is another one of our 3 bedroom waterfront retreats, your perfect getaway for any season! With a fully equipped kitchen, a three-piece bathroom, and a spacious patio complete with a BBQ and enough patio furniture for you and all of your guests, this retreat has everything you need.
Bedrock Quarters
A cozy and inviting retreat with beautiful lake views, this two-bedroom Bedrock Quarters is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, modern three-piece bathroom, and bright sunroom overlooking the lake. Comfortable and peaceful, it’s an ideal home base for unwinding or exploring all that Sand Lake Shores has to offer.
Rockledge Quarters
Our largest accommodation, Rockledge Quarters occupies the entire upper floor of our lodge and is perfect for families or groups. Sleeping up to 10 guests across four bedrooms, it features three queen bedrooms, a spacious loft with three double beds, a large four-piece bathroom with a clawfoot tub, and a private ensuite off the primary bedroom. Enjoy your own wraparound deck with BBQ and patio furniture, perfect for relaxing after a day at the lake. A favourite among returning families!
Quarry Loft
Your most private accommodation, Quarry Loft occupies the entire upper floor above the garage, offering a peaceful retreat for families or groups. Sleeping up to 6 guests, it features two queen bedrooms, a bunk room with two single beds, a three-piece bathroom, and a private deck overlooking the garden with your own BBQ and patio furniture. A favourite among returning families, with full access to our private beach.
